Our Clinics

At Top Hand Clinics we strive to preserve cowboy traditions through offering every experience level opportunities to advance their horsemanship, gain ranch experience and learn new skills. We focus on opening only a small number of registrations for each clinic to ensure every attendee has 1:1 time with instructors to work on their personal goals.

Horsemanship

Beginner or experienced, everyone alike can benefit from our clinics. We offer everyone an opportunity to strengthen your skills through a small group and 1:1 instruction.

Stockmanship

From gathering cattle to the branding pen our goal is to help you build confidence and learn real life ranching etiquette through first hand experience.

Ranch Roping

Whether you ride slick horns or show up in a barrel saddle, our instructors are skilled in teaching all experience levels the ins and outs of big loop & ranch roping.

What to expect

Our standard two day clinics allow time for learning new skills and perfecting old ones. We pride ourselves on meeting each participant where they are at for each portion of the clinic, helping build both skill and confidence no matter their experience level.

Day 1: The first day typically consists of groundwork- focusing on & practicing ranch roping skills and moves into horsemanship.

Day 2: Following breakfast and devoted time to read and discuss the Gospel, this day is focused on taking the skills from the first day and puting them to use in a real ranch setting.

Whether gathering, doctoring or branding, our clinics allow you to head home with the experience of a lifetime, both in faith & on horseback.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Beginner or experienced, our team of instructors is capable of helping all levels of horsemen & women advance their horsemanship skills!

  • We limit the number of registrations to ensure we maintain a low enough number of students that our instructors can offer 1:1 time to each participant throughout both days of the clinic.

  • We welcome auditors! We do ask that you pay a $10 fee to cover the cost of food for adults and a $5 fee for children.

  • We ask that you maintain compliance with necessary state requirements & have a current negative coggins.

  • For the clinic you will need a horse, saddle & rope. Sleeping arrangements are up to you- bedroll, tent or living quarters trailer- we have seen it all!
